Pique knit is the reason polos are the most forgiving garment we embroider and also the reason fine detail disappears on them. The fabric has a raised waffle texture, so hairline strokes and very small lettering break up against it. We keep left breast logos at a size that suits the texture, typically around 80 to 90mm wide, and thicken thin strokes rather than reproducing artwork that will look broken from a metre away. That is why our polos still read cleanly across a room.
