Bespoke
Bespoke garment production managed end to end, from high visibility designs through to bespoke napkins, across UK, European and Asian manufacturing. Minimum order quantities apply.
When bespoke is the right call
Most requirements are met faster and cheaper by taking a catalogue garment and decorating it, and we will tell you when that is the case. Bespoke earns its place when the catalogue genuinely cannot do the job: an exact colour match to a brand palette, a specific fabric or weight, an unusual construction or pocket layout, branded trims, tapes and zip pulls, or a size range that standard ranges do not carry.
It is also the answer when you want something nobody else can buy. A garment made to your own specification is not something a competitor can pick out of the same catalogue you did.
How the process works
Bespoke work runs to a sequence, and knowing it up front makes the timeline much easier to plan around:
- Brief and specification. We work through fabric, weight, colour, construction, trims, sizing and labelling with you.
- Costing and minimum quantity. We confirm the price per unit and the minimum order the specification requires.
- Sample. A pre-production sample is made and sent for your approval. Nothing goes into production until you have held it.
- Production. The run is manufactured to the approved sample.
- Decoration and delivery. Logos are applied and the order is delivered, or held and called off in stages if that suits you better.
Where we manufacture
We have extensive experience managing production across UK, European and Asian factories, and the right choice depends on your order rather than on habit. UK production suits shorter runs and tighter deadlines. European manufacturing sits in the middle on both cost and lead time. Asian production is where the economics work for larger volumes.
We will recommend the route that fits your quantity, budget and deadline, and we manage the relationship, the quality control and the shipping so you deal with us rather than with a factory.
What we have made
The range is wide. High visibility garments designed to a customer's own specification, hospitality and catering items down to bespoke napkins, workwear built for specific tasks, and uniform ranges developed for businesses that wanted something distinct from what their competitors were wearing.
If you are not sure whether something is possible, ask. It usually is.
Minimum quantities and lead times
Minimum order quantities apply to all bespoke production and vary by item and by factory, so we confirm yours as part of the quote rather than quoting a headline figure that may not apply to your product.
Lead times are longer than catalogue orders, because sampling and manufacture both take real time. Bring us in early and there is usually plenty of room. Bring us in late and we will tell you honestly whether the date is achievable, and what a catalogue alternative would look like if it is not.
Where bespoke fits
